Founder’s Words:

The NCWT is one of my dream products as the same has been implemented with Sails as working elements which is a traditional fisherman technique of using the wind to drive their catamarans, boats, ships and merchant vessels. Hailing from the community, I have a clear understanding that sails are the best elements for wind energy conversion owing to their vast elemental area along with other aerodynamic principles of operation. And, as an experienced product development professional, I understood that if the sails are implemented in the wind turbine Rotors through strategic design integration and engineering (rather than crude methods as done by many nature lovers), the energy conversion can be maximized. Off course, it is size dependant and is not only the Output but the Cost gains too. Larger the Turbine... Higher the gains multi-fold. The gains are expected to go as high as 600% increase in Output and 1/10th of the cost in larger sizes (at least for the turbine / rotor. As in very large turbines, rotor plays major role of the cost).

Ms. Udhaya Dharshini.V, Director.

Daughter of Founder and is a keen learner of new things. A motivator and lateral thinker, she is the one who associated, contributed, supported the Founder from home office, test site and elsewhere from the very beginning of the project in developing the micro, mini and working level prototypes. She has the initiatives to take up challenges, plan and execute. She currently studies IT Engineering at SVCE, an affiliated college under Anna University, Chennai.
